I Can't Believe There's More Living Waters Camp

Yet Even More Living Waters Camp

We had a great time just being together as a family!

OK, just one more post to go...next up; random shots!

Still More Living Waters Camp

The kids weren't the only ones who had fun last week:

Lar gives the thumbs up sign from the 40-ft. high zip line tower...
Jen on the zip line (during the slower, return trip):

Larry takes Kaelyn for a canoe ride...
Lar just chillin' by the stream...

Jen finally getting some kayak-time!

You guessed it, there's more...

More from Living Waters Camp

Here are a few pics from where we stayed:

"Cabin, Sweet Cabin"

A distant Mt. Kitahdin in front...
Livestock in the back...OK, 6 cows, 1 horse, and a yak named "Danno," actually. We heard that the yak was friendly, but didn't test the theory.
The campfire did eventually ignite, and we did eventually enjoy some s'mores!
At the campground's dining hall...

Yeah, there's more to follow...

Living Waters Bible Conference

We spent last week up at Living Waters in Weston, ME! It was a week of vacation (mostly) for us. We stayed in a big cabin (could have invited 13 more people) and ate meals in the dining hall. The girls participated in the kids' camp program; drama, canoeing, games, and crafts were their activity choices. Plus, there were chapel meetings, a bonfire, a talent/skit night, and lots more! Here are some pics of the fun:
Adrienne (in the back) canoeing with her friend Grace...
Fun on the merry-go-round!
Anna reacting to the cold water of East Grand Lake...
Adrienne and friends in the Crafts Barn...
Kaelyn on horseback!
More to follow...

4th of July Parade

Adrienne waved at the crowds.

Our church had a float in Winslow's Family 4th of July Parade.

Rainy Day Fun

The girls were running out of indoor things to do so they decided to play "dress up".

Isamax Snacks Whoopie Pie

We stopped by Isamax Snacks on the way to one of our adventures. Their whoopie pies were featured on the Oprah show as one of her top 100 favorite things. Here is a picture of Kaelyn holding their large one. We didn't actually purchase this one! We each picked out a different flavor. Our favorite one was the oatmeal cookie.

LL Bean

We made a trip to LL Bean and the kids picked out new backpacks and lunch boxes for school next year. We had them embroidered and they arrived yesterday. I put them in the closet and don't want to think about going back to school.
